This fall is all about matching your outfits to the ultimate and by that I mean wearing your pieces together. Like the Stella McCartney golden pyjama above or the beautiful and delicate light pink Rochas alpaca top and skirt. The three outfits above are my favourites for the moment. The klein cobalt blue top and skirt is Stella McCartney as well.
I would love to get me some elegant and arty earrings for fall to style with all the chunky knits and heavy fabrics that are taking place in my wardrobe. These golden earrings above are perfection, from the left: Aurélie Bidermann ‘Machu Picchu’ 18-karat gold earrings, in the middle Giles & Brither gold ‘Vermeil Wishbone’ earrings and to the right Aurélie Bidermann ‘Tao’ 18-karat gold pleated earrings.
Okey so there’s a huge hype right now around Vans and in particular around the collaboration that Vans did with Kenzo. The shoes are really hot and super cool. I like this print above, the ‘Authentic Grape Print’ but I can’t find anywhere. I do want a pair so I’m considering another print, more ‘neutral’ than these on the picture, maybe in floral. But anyway how cool?! So sweet to put on for work or school, just a perfect everyday shoe. Kenzo has, by the way, delivered a great ready-to-wear collection for this fall. I really like their knitted jumpers, printed logo t-shirts and pleated wool skirts. Very feminim and girly pieces in deep, rich colours in lovely materials such as angora, cashmere and wool.
I saw this amazing bomber jacket on Rebecca (the Women’s wear buyer at Browns Fashion) and she looked real amazing in it. Then I spotted that Columbine had the same, and looked super nice in it as well (of course, she fits in everything). So now the cravings starts! It’s the bomber above, from swedish Carin Wester. and the beautiful pic above is from Style By issue 11. I’m not sure you can buy the jacket yet, but very very soon. I want it real bad!
I need a new calender and there are no better calenders than the one from Smythson. Classic, timeless and cool pieces in different colours and textures. This one above, the ‘Panama’ diary is in leather crocco-effect. You’ll find it here.
Totally in love with this editorial. Love the roughness and edgy feeling about it. And the quilted leather pants are to-die-for. Absolutely amazing! Oh, and I wouldn’t say no that black and red embellished sweater from Christopher Kane nor the amazing Star Wars printed top from Balenciaga. The editorial ‘The Best Thing about being Young is being Young with my Son’ is photgraphed by Josh Olins and is featured in the latest issue of iD Magazine. Model: Kati Nescher.
Totally in love with this wool-blended tuxedo blazer from Haider Ackermann. Couldn’t be a better colour! I would style that deep rich purple-red plum blazer with either a pair of light pink wool capri trousers or a tight knee-long skirt, of course in pink as well. I’ve spotted a gorgeous one from Rochas that would be a match made in heaven with the tuxedo…dream on.
