I know there has been a lot of Resort collections on the blog lately, but there has been so many good ones. I am absolutely overwhelmed by the spot on styles and pieces, not only by the brands I am usually obsessing over. The latest one to show is Masion Martin Margiela and this collection surprised me. I dig the white look above with the peacock coat, the knee-lenght of the dress and the thigh-high boots. I am all about simplicity and the feeling of effortless cool, and I think MMM nailed it in this line. I mean, I definitely want that black jumpsuit (crepe-de-chin top with trousers) as we speak.

Black or white
Anja Rubik is featured in the latest issue of Vogue Turkey. The magazine which is quite a rookie on the market (since 2010) deliver amazing and inspiring editorials every month. One of them is this this one with Anja Rubik showing of two simple looks. I love the fact of styling an all black look, black on black, as well as the white on white look. It is very effect full. Here above Anja is wearing pumps in black and white from Christian Louboutin, as well as Nicolas Ghesquiére for Balenciga, Sportmax and Céline. The silk satin tank in black/navy shade is Céline and just stunning. Wouldn’t mind it at all… The editorial is shot by Cuneyt Akeroglu.
Milan Fashion Week
So Milan Fashion Week just kicked off and there has been some big names showing their collection already like Gucci and Fendi. One collection that I found very cool was the Max Mara Fall 2013 show. The models were dressed in camel from top to toe as well as mustard tones, black and grey – all styled with flat comfy sneakers. The sneaker has grown from a trend to a shoe to count on, even on the runway! I think it’s amazing. My absolute favourite looks from the show were the 70s inspired ones with the long hair, slight wavy hair styled with a pair of big framed sunglasses – combined with loose fitted pants in either velvet or satin paired with the v-neck jackets and kimonos. Nice!
Altuzarra FW13
Simple, sexy and fierce looks at Altuzarra Fall 2013 show. Black and white monochrome styles domimated the collection and were accompanied by fur coats and fur accessories – like the fur mittens (that we also spotted at the Alexander Wang show). The buckle details on the boots and the ankle shoes, well the total look of the shoes reminds me of the Guess Marciano x Elin Kling collaboration. Take a look for yourself here. Anyway, it’s a great collection for this fall and I am excited to spot in in editorials and on fashionistas for this fall.
The look
I am hooked on these two looks for the moment, from the Resort 2013 collection from my absolute favourite brand, The Row. The all black vs. the all white look are such simple, yet effect full, way of dressing. That black pony hair and leather jacket are to die for, as well as the backpack with silver details….For the moment, I am also hooked on turtle necks (I guess because of the cold outside) and I like the simple way of styling it with a coat – and nothing more around the neck (no scarf, etc.) If I haven’t said it before, I must say that I am very impressed with the Olsen sisters work. Even at a such young age, they don’t capture the youth nor accenture it. Instead the sisters emphasising on a much more modern and hip, yet classic, look that work in wide age range as well as for a much longer perspective. And I love how they make everything so luxurious.
