There are some great pieces in the Hermès S/S13 collection. Among many I have picked out some favorites. The oversized leather jacket in lamb skin are one of them as well as the shorts in crocodile chiffre, shaded jade or cobalt. Hermès creative director Christophe Lemaire was inspired by a luxurious traveller on a journey in the East, which we could spot on the runway with the models carrying leather backpacks over their sheer dresses as well as the mosaic prints in different pieces.
I have so been curious to see when this amazing satin dress from Céline S/S13 would be featured in an editorial. In Numéro Magazine issue April 2013 model Aymeline Valade is styled in this beauty (the white satin on with black mesh details), along with other cool pieces from Nicolas Ghesquière for Balenciaga, Ricardo Tisci for Givenchy, Louis Vuitton, Dior and Fendi, all styled by Franck Benhamou. I love have the looks turned quite raw with just adding the boots by Givenchy. Richard Bush is the photographer for this editorial.
In the April issue of Vogue Netherlands, Milou van Groesen is not only featured on the cover, but also in a story inside. The editorial ‘Plastic Touch’ is, according to the magazine, a celebration to the Spring. I am in love with the picture above, the white jeans, the mens watch that are a bit too loose and the black top, with a very deep cleavage. The messy hair and the colors in this editorial (shot in the evening) makes my cravings for a bit warmer temperatures even bigger.
I think you all remembered this hyped collaboration from last year? The Vans x Kenzo fourth edition of the signature shoe was unveiled during Paris Fashion Week FW13 and this time the two brands has worked with leopard print. The Clouded Leopard capsule collection is created by design directors Humberto Leon and Carol Lim at Kenzo and the print was shaped during a trek in the Thai Jungle. The sneaker is available in ocher, orange, green, khaki and dark blue (and in the model Era) from March 15. A comfy and perfect everyday sneaker to lighten up your shoe wardrobe.
I picked out some of my favourites bags from the Céline Spring and Summer leather goods collection of 2013. Even though I am a tiny bit tired of some models, I totally dig the new clutches and the beautiful colours. As I mentioned before, light yellow is an huge trend for spring as well as the baby blue colours and hues. The one that really rocks this collection is the black fold-over shoulder bag with gold details.
For Spring 2013 there is one colour that is one of the hottest among accessories, and that is yellow. I have a very hard time to like the brash hues of yellow, but this one above, the more softer and lighter version is actually quite cool. From the top: Céline Box bag in python leather, the Vavavoom bag from Valentino and the PS1 from Proenza Schouler.
Two AMAZING jackets for fall are these two above! The yellow neon jacket in shearling are to-die-for and comes from Acne. It’s their ‘Rita Biker’ jacket which has become an standard and returning piece in their fall and winter collection. And always very popular! This time Acne nailed it with the colour. Underneath you see a beautiful rabbit jacket from Philosophy di Alberta Ferretti. Goregous!
Hooked on yellow for the moment. You’ll find this tank here, from Tibi.
Dress from Tibi, bags from Prada, shoes from Chloé and necklace from Dogeared. The bags are so cool! Super classy and super chic and if you’ve got one you should definitely style it like Caroline. Love the Prada in the mustard colour, I want a new bag, should I get this one?!
The latest issue of Vogue UK makes me so happy! Sienna looks great in a Stella McCartney S/S12 dress (love that dress btw) with her super blond hair and dark eye-brows. I’m heading out soon and I’m definitely going to get my hands on that issue. Wouldn’t mind slipping in to these loafers from Penelope Chilvers and matching those with a Balenciaga bag and YSL card-holder. Super yellow and super chic.
