Pierre Balmain

Pierre Balmain Spring 2013 black dressSpeaking of Balmain, the Pierre Balmain S/S13 collection looks real nice. I haven’t spotted the pieces in stores yet (more than the tee’s), but I can’t wait to see more of it. Graphic white and black (which is huge right now) is mixed up with romantic, yet modern silhouettes. The collection is inspired by French glamour and the style of iconic Jeanne Moreau, who was a French actress in the 60′s. The campaign and lookbook feature model Anna Selezneva photgraphed by Karim Sadli.

Freezing

It is freakishly cold right now and at the moment my biggest problem is to find clothes that keep me warm! Yes, I know, huge problem right? But it is. There are no cool or stylish outerwear that keeps me warm, nore shoes… Well, maybe there are but I am not in the mood for it. Speaking of outerwear, I just spotted these two gorgeous pieces from the Alexander Wang Resort 2013 collection. They just recently arrived at Browns Fashion and don’t you just love them? The bomber is way too cold for these temperatures, but it will look great for spring. Although the leather croco-embossed gilet is perfect for now! If you layer the vest to some chunky knits or maybe some fur. Anyway, Wang’s collections are hot stuff right now! Especially when him turning the Creative Director of Balenciaga. And that is…intriguing.

The vest

Okey, I can’t say that I’m very fond of vests. It’s a very special kind of garment and it’s not like it’s a very common piece in my wardrobe. But if I had the ‘Wolf’ vest from the Isabel Marant S/S12 collection, I would definitely wear it crazy much. Perfect with a pair of skinny jeans and high heels. Cravings!
