Red is such a difficult color, at least for me. I don’t think I own anything red actually, sure I have got tons of burgundy accessories and pieces but no red ones. If I would implement it in my wardrobe I would definitely go with a bag. Red to denim, black and white are a beautiful combination, as well as red and melange grey. I am longing for warmer weather and to be able to walk around in flats with bare feet, skirts and sheer blouses. For the moment I have got patterns and animal prints on my mind. Animal print like python and leopard are beautiful and always a winning concept. But something we will see more of, especially for the fall, is camouflage. Valentino has created a super cool mini collection with military camouflage for late spring both in printed scarfs, textiles and shoes (love the sneakers) as well as created camouflage patterns from Swarovski stones. Wish outfit of today – longing for the spring and the summer… Wouldn’t mind wrapping myself in a beautiful silk kimono from Carine Gilson and style it with a pair of crisp white trousers from Stella McCartney. Accessories: cat eye sunglasses in acetate from The Row, plexi-cuff from Chanel, white ‘Va Va Voom’-bag from Valentino, deep purple heeles slippers from Rochas and a wishbone necklace from Cornelia Webb.
For Spring 2013 there is one colour that is one of the hottest among accessories, and that is yellow. I have a very hard time to like the brash hues of yellow, but this one above, the more softer and lighter version is actually quite cool. I’m totally hooked on this shoulder bag for the moment from Valentino. I know, I’ve posted the ‘Va Va Voom‘ model before, but this one is more square and also a beauty. I really want this one! I feel like a kid on Christmas Eve, that can’t settle with the gifts until you get this particular one. Huge cravings so to speak.
