For the moment I have got black on my mind and I wouldn’t mind these cool pieces in my wardrobe. From the top left: black leather loafers from Hermès, leather bomber jacket from Filippa K S/S13 as well as leather skirt from Filippa K S/S13, beautiful satin top from Lanvin, embellished boots from the Saint Laurent Fall and Winter 2013 collection, stiletto sandal in snake from Jimmy Choo (I love these!), slip-in sandals in black leather with gold details from Ancient Greek Sandals, canvas and leather bag model ‘1968’ from Balenciaga and a pair of aviators ‘Luxe Mirrored Sunglasses’ from Linda Farrow.

Wangs first show
Nicolas Ghesquière was a genious who literally took Balenciaga to a whole new level in his fifteen years of service for the brand. I was skeptical at first to Wang, he is great of what he does at hos own self-titled brand, but I still found it very odd when they announced him as the creative director for the franch brand. Anyhow, I must say I am slightly wrong. I think this collection is surprisingly good. The Balenciaga silhouettes are still there, but in a different way. It’s elegant and raw, just like Wang’s own designs. I like the knotted silver bracelets and details on different pieces, the amazing deep green fur jacket and black suede boots. By the way, It’s going to be so exciting to see what kind of handbags and shoes Wang can design for Balenciaga that makes every fashionistas heart turnover (Ghesquière’s cash cow was the Motorcycle bag, and still is…).
Python
One of the hottest trends for this spring is the pyhton print. You’ll spot in on everything from bags to printed t-shirts, dresses and shirts. Balenciaga and Proenza Schouler has made some amazing bags in eclectic colours using the python leather. Christian Louboutin show off some amazing heels in snake leather as well as Valentino. I like the python print a lot! A great substitute to all the leopard animal print that we have seen for a while now. Above you’ll find the classic ‘Papier Tote’ bag from Balenciaga in the latest python leather for the spring 2013 collection.
Gold lamé
Wouldn’t mind this gold lamé top from Michael Kors in my wardrobe. Would be a great piece for spring and summer to pair with everything from a leather skirt to a loose pair of white flared jeans. Nice! You can get it here.
Belly tops
Okey, so you guys know that I am pretty hooked on show-your-belly-tops for the moment? Like I posted here and here. I just spotted this one above, from 3.1 Phillip Lim Spring 2013, which is a twisted gem tank top that comes in both black and white. Super duper nice and just perfect. I mean, the Balenciaga S/S13 bustier is perfect, but I think it’s hard to pull that of in an everyday look. But this one can be a real winner. You’ll find it here.
Go get Stella’s leopard
The Stella McCartney leopard pieces from her Resort collection 2013 has just hit the stores. Go get the leopard here! Super cool stuff, really. But I think I would get tired of them immediatley, especially since the leopard prints pieces has already gotten so much publicity everywhere, mags, blogs, events…. Love the things though. But I would wanna wear it all together, the top with the jacket AND the trousers!
Etno vibes
1970s comic book icon Corto Maltese is the inspiration behind Joseph Altuzarra’s fall 2012 collection. That is why the collection is full of classic maritime looks with shearlings and mixed up with patchworks, prints and etno-chic vibes. I am having this crush on this kind of style for the moment, will probably last in a micro-second, but I very much dig the sweater above. Beautiful embellishments in gold and stunning print.
MMM SS13
Amazing pieces at the Maison Martin Margiela SS13 show in Paris the other day. The bustiers are so gorgeous – elegant but yet sexy. And once again we spot the slouchy trousers over the high-heel sandal, bare-shoulder tops and the showing-off-your-belly-trend. Great trends for spring and summer 2013!
Simone Rocha
Pucci
If you have € 4,512 to spare, this lovely piece, embellished with crystals, will be yours. From Emilio Pucci and you’ll find it here.
