Repossi

Gaia Repossi Jewelry - rings, necklace, earringsAs I mentioned in the previous post, I just had to show you some of the amazing pieces from Gaia Repossi’s line. All of them are favorites, of course… But if I had to choose one particular pieces I must say I am in love with the ‘Berber’ earring – both in 18 karat rosé-gold and white gold (the pieces in with the four rings in the middle of the pic). You can find the jewelry at Net-à-Porter, Barneys and Montaigne Market.

Cravings: Python

Python on my mind - Proenza Schouler bags, Equipment t-shirt, Valentino bag and shoes, Dolce & Gabbana iPad case, ATP Atelier sandalsFor the moment it’s snowing outside. My mind is totally somewhere else, not even close at bringing back boots, furs and big jackets. This time last year it was actually pretty sweet outside. Thank god that I have plans coming up. Anyway, since I just want to think about spring I am thinking about the trends for this spring. As I mentioned before, there is a lot of python coming up. Proenza Schouler and Valentino showed a lot of leather goods as well as shoes on the runway in python leather and print. Above I just put together some cool stuff that are available in store, or pretty soon at least. Pink-orange hued python PS1 and clutch from Proenza Schouler (as well as the neutral bag underneath), t-shirt from Equipment (how cool), kitten heels and clutch from Valentino, blue iPad case from Dolce & Gabbana and super sweet sandals from All Tomorrow’s Parties – that you can find online right here.

On my mind

On my mind - Pattern prints, animal and camouflage & militaryI am longing for warmer weather and to be able to walk around in flats with bare feet, skirts and sheer blouses. For the moment I have got patterns and animal prints on my mind. Animal print like python and leopard are beautiful and always a winning concept. But something we will see more of, especially for the fall, is camouflage. Valentino has created a super cool mini collection with military camouflage for late spring both in printed scarfs, textiles and shoes (love the sneakers) as well as created camouflage patterns from Swarovski stones. Above you’ll see the flats and the studded Va Va Voom bag from Valentino, along with leopard clutch from Dries Van Noten, python skirt from J.Crew, silk blouse from Dries Van Noten and tortoise sunnies from the Alexander Wang collaboration with Linda Farrow.

Knee-high

This fall is all about the knee-high boots! It’s a huge trend and at the previous fashion weeks models, buyers, bloggers, editors and fashionistas has been wearing this sexy shoe not only with jeans but to shorts, skirts, dresses…well, you name it. Above you see my all time favourite knee-high boots this fall – from Altuzarra. They are fabolous! I would love, love, love to get my hands on one of those models. Underneath I’ve listed some more boots – also very fab. From the left: Aquazzura suede and crocco boot, in the middle: knee-high leather boot from Gianvito Rossi and a gorgeous slouchy leather boot from Givenchy. Underneath: blue suede boot from Aperlaï, python thigh-high boot from Tom Ford (gorgeous) and a brown furry boot from Givenchy fall 2012 collection.

Proenza Schouler SS13

The Proenza Schouler show was amazing! The bags were true love and I definitely something I want to get my hands on when they arrive in store. Although I associated them big time with Givenchy (!) because of the front buckle looked very alike the Obsedia buckle. Anyhow, the styling looked great as well. Carry your shoulder bag in the hand this spring.
