Above and below are accessories, leather goods and shoes I definitely wouldn’t say no to for this spring and summer. Especially not the large white “pillow” hand bag, nor the “flap pillow” clutch in black. These bags making me think about Pierre Paulin’s Canape sofa in leather, or Vittorio Introini designed chairs for Saporiti from the1970s. Anyway, the suede clutch from Resort 2016 isn’t bad either.

Dior heels
Above and below are the truly dreamy heels from the Christian Dior spring and summer 2016 collection. Patent, pointy, cone heels, and with a bucket detail at the front and on the strap makes these shoes the absolute it-shoe of the season. Also available in flats, similar to the ones Céline showed in their resort collection. This was Raf Simon’s last collection for the Parisian house so they will definitely become collective items. His words about the collection were these among many: “It’s a calm one, and very soft—away from the overdone. I didn’t want to embellish. So I was thinking about the South of France—rainbows and the simple things. And there’s a bit of Victoriana: something of that film Picnic at Hanging Rock. With a slight sexual undertone of darkness.”

Fall shoes
Six pair of shoes I wouldn’t mind in my shoe closet for this fall; black leather boots with wooden cone heel from Givenchy, light beige faux-leather boot from Stella McCartney, black kitten heel from Louis Vuitton, beige and black slingback from Chanel, white sneaker from Céline and woven leather slip-on sneaker from Bottega Veneta.
Skinny heels

Skinny heels by French brand Vetements. The brands on everyones lips at the moment. Well not really, but more or less. You didn’t miss Kanye West turning up in one of their oversized hoodies on fashion week in Paris right? Even though the hoodie might not be the to-die piece in their fall collection, I am admiring their aesthetic and how they work with proportions. Several designers in the team have a background at Margiela, so maybe it is not that surprising. And if you look closer at their collections, you will see that there are several signature shapes taken just from Margiela. Anyways, I do like their skinny heels.
Céline cravings
Slip ins
These sandals from Common Projects have been on my wish list for quite some time. I have a similar pair from ATP Atelier in black leather, which I have been using too much… Even though I love the ones from ATP these however have a better and more absorbing sole so I can walk in them longer distances. I tend to walk a bit too much so I am truly in the need for shoes that lasts. You can find them here.
Anja for Zanotti
The polish super model has teamed up with the Italian designer Giuseppe Zanotti in a collaboration for the brand. The small capsule collection contains not only glamorous shoes but also handbags. The Anja Rubik for Giusppe Zanotti shoes are now available in stores and online, and I must say it’s a great collaboration. It is not that surprisingly though, since Anja has great taste, something that pretty much I guess no one has missed. Her off-duty and street style looks are copied frequently and she tops the best-dressed lists more often than seldom. One of my favorite pieces in the collection is the black laced-up gladiator sandals, that you can find here. Yez, they give me huge cravings… By the way, how stunning doesn’t Anja looks in the ad campaign?
Black & White
For this upcoming Fall, black and white are an huge trend – in pattern as well as in looks. I just love a monochrome look, as you may have realized by now, and to follow up a monochrome look is gorgeous to do it with a pair of shoes in the same color. A white pair of shoes is quite hard to find, but for this Fall season there are going to be a lot of cool alternatives. Like the ankle boots above from Altuzarra with the silver buckle detail or the pumps from Gianvito Rossi. All shoes from Gianvito Rossi Fall and Winter 2013 except for the top ankle boots from Altuzarra Fall 2013.
The LV boots
The boots I am dreaming of for this fall comes from Louis Vuitton AW14. What’s not to like about Nicholas Ghesquère’s first collection for Louis Vuitton? I have a weak spot for the girly side in the collection along with the funky vibe all over the collection. Even though ready-to-wear pieces are just too cool (turtlenecks, flappy big collars on short jackets, a-line form skirts and dresses… the list goes on), I have set my mind into the accessories – or to be more specific, the shoes. They are absolute perfection in my eyes; timeless, funky and yet so very chic. A thicker heel and round shape front makes these ankle boots wearable in so many ways. More or less, the ultimate ankle boots.
