Anja Rubik for Giuseppe Zanotti adThe polish super model has teamed up with the Italian designer Giuseppe Zanotti in a collaboration for the brand. The small capsule collection contains not only glamorous shoes but also handbags. The Anja Rubik for Giusppe Zanotti shoes are now available in stores and online, and I must say it’s a great collaboration. It is not that surprisingly though, since Anja has great taste, something that pretty much I guess no one has missed. Her off-duty and street style looks are copied frequently and she tops the best-dressed lists more often than seldom. One of my favorite pieces in the collection is the black laced-up gladiator sandals, that you can find here. Yez, they give me huge cravings… By the way, how stunning doesn’t Anja looks in the ad campaign?

Acne Capsule

Acne capsule collection 2013 scarf

Acne Studios has just released their capsule collection for Summer 2013. The collection is inspired by Eduardo García Benito’s graphic illustration of a woman’s face in profile, sketched for Vogue’s July 1931 cover. Jonny Johansson has designed graphite prints which he have been splashing across breezy summer dresses, voluminous skirts, super cool t-shirts, court shoes as well as baseball caps. The designer also refers to the Art Deco era, and mentions in an interview with Vogue Daily ‘Art Deco is the definition of modernism and classism combined’. I couldn’t agree more. My favorite from the capsule line is definitely the scarf, I am head over heels in love with the turquoise one with lime hints, and wouldn’t mind wearing in like the model underneath – tied like a bandana with the knot in front.

Could it be any better? Don’t think so. I love army green and my heart skipped a beat when I saw the color not only in the wool and cotton military inspired jackets but also in the beautiful silk and satin dresses. Mixing black, gold and army green is just such an elegant and cool combination, and Prabal Gurung does it beautifully.

Black and white shoes FW13 - Altuzarra, Gianvito RossoFor this upcoming Fall, black and white are an huge trend – in pattern as well as in looks. I just love a monochrome look, as you may have realized by now, and to follow up a monochrome look is gorgeous to do it with a pair of shoes in the same color. A white pair of shoes is quite hard to find, but for this Fall season there are going to be a lot of cool alternatives. Like the ankle boots above from Altuzarra with the silver buckle detail or the pumps from Gianvito Rossi. Just what I like. Jersey top from OAK, wide-leg trousers from Emilio Pucci, quilted Pindot blazer from Raquel Allegra, Superga sneakers in black cashmere from the collaboration with The Row (so cool, love the fact that they are in cashmere), chevron snake amure ring in gold from Saint Laurent Paris, oracle gold-tone cuff from Lanvin, yellow gold watch with leather strap from Isabel Marant and the A5 Papier tote in black from Balenciaga.

Vogue Netherlands April 2013 Milou van Groesen white jeansIn the April issue of Vogue Netherlands, Milou van Groesen is not only featured on the cover, but also in a story inside. The editorial ‘Plastic Touch’ is, according to the magazine, a celebration to the Spring. I am in love with the picture above, the white jeans, the mens watch that are a bit too loose and the black top, with a very deep cleavage. The messy hair and the colors in this editorial (shot in the evening) makes my cravings for a bit warmer temperatures even bigger.

Aquazurra Sexy Thing suede heels shoesI just love these beautiful suede heels from Aquazzura shoes So simple but yet gorgeous. I have had a hard to time to find where you can get them, but I found that ShopBop has them. This sleek model above is calles ‘Sexy Thing’ and are truly living up to it’s name. The cutout is just perfect, showing of the parts of the feet that looks the best. This model is available in nude and black suede, but for this season Aquazurra has also done a model with python – as a detail on the sole and heel.
