Skinny heels by French brand Vetements. The brands on everyones lips at the moment. Well not really, but more or less. You didn’t miss Kanye West turning up in one of their oversized hoodies on fashion week in Paris right? Even though the hoodie might not be the to-die piece in their fall collection, I am admiring their aesthetic and how they work with proportions. Several designers in the team have a background at Margiela, so maybe it is not that surprising. And if you look closer at their collections, you will see that there are several signature shapes taken just from Margiela. Anyways, I do like their skinny heels.

Self Service Magazine always list their essentials for the annual summer vacation. Well, not their own essentials, more or less people in their surroundings and peeps in the industry. I have just recently been in Italy and one of the stops where in Positano, where you can find a beautiful selection of straw bags. There were so many chic bags you get craze mazed, like this Pampleonne basket above from Sarah Lavoine, and I really wanted to get one but didn’t know how to pack it on my way home… Classic, right?
Stripes is merely an obsession of mine, and lately I have been eyeing thicker ones. Jacquemus is one who has included the bolder line in his SS15 collection, which is available for almost half the price now… Dangerous. Anyway, got me thinking of this editorial with Anja Rubik in Self Service Magazine where she is styled by Suzanne Koller and captured by Walter Pfeiffer. Perfect stripes and absolutely love the dress. I would probably look like a prison guard in this one, but Anja pulls it off perfectly.
The bag of bags, wouldn’t you say? An Hermès Birkin Will always be on top of my wish list. It’s one of those bags you get yourself for a good achievement. Like graduating (maybe not, since you would be a broke student) or perhaps more realistic thinking when achieving something cool in your career. Motivation.

A pic that has been lying around in my inspiration folder for a while now is this one above. It’s one of those pictures I will always remain in my inspiration folder. The denim on denim outfit its always a cool look and very timeless for that matter as well. A sleek denim shirt with a pair of denim jeans in a similar hue could basically never go wrong.
