Some lovely pics from Paris Fashion Week: Joan Smalls looking hot in a loose-fitted menswear tee from Givenchy, spikey clutch in black crocco, matching dress and clutch from Céline in a beautiful klein-blue colour and lovely Emmanuelle Alt looking supercool in a grey wool jacket.

Stella!

Stella’s collections gets better and better for every season! Botanical embroideries, the perfect pair of trousers shown with pointy platforms, oversized clutches, navy with black and retro side-ziped jackets. I am in love. Anyway, can’t wait to visit her new boutique in Soho and finger on her S/S12 collection.
YSL FW12

Stefano Pilati’s last collection for YSL was dark, glamourous, elegant and graceful. Just the way I picture YSL. The models had slick-back hair paired with blood-red lips and went down the catwalk in simple and classic looks updated with leather and fur details, metallic dresses and beautiful high-heels. The backless dresses were absolutely stunning and the chain details was teamed up in perfection with the strictness and elegance. So sad that Stefano Pilati is saying goodbye to YSL, he is such a genious. Hopefully someone grand takes over, the rumour has it that Hedi Slimane is taking over as a creative director for the brand.
Céline FW12

According to Style.com, Phoebe Philo’s up-coming birth to her third child influenced the presentation of this collection. So the fall and winter show was presented in a garage look-a-like studio. Even though her presentation was inspired by her imminent birth, none of the pieces were influnced by it. Enough said, the collection (as always) was breathtaking. My absolute favourites were the pink coat, the color blocked trench and the beautiful multi-coloured fur. Not to forget, the white shoes, or the golden ones (!).
