Julia Stegner

Wow! Love this editorial in the latest issue of ELLE France Ocotber 2012. Julia Stegner looking smashing in Paul & Joe fur styled with Viktor & Rolf dress as well as the boot-cut printed trousers from American Retro, or why not the laidback look with creepers and boy-friend jeans from A.P.C? Great styling – chic and effortless – by Hortense Manga and photgraphed by Philip Gay.

Isabel Marant store-opening

Isabel Marant opened a brand new boutique in Paris a couple of days ago, on Avenue Victor Hugo. You will not only find the brand’s Ready to Wear collection in the store but also her accessory line with shoes and bags. The boutique is over 2,000 square feet in the heart of a Parisian three story mansion. Of course there were a lot of chic people mingling in the evening the doors to the boutique opened. Among others Doria Tillier (looking great in a star printed shirt), Marie-Ange Casta (second pic) and Jeanne Damas (looking chic in a Isabel Marant top and jacket.

Lara in Self Service

I absolutely love these picture of Lara Stone in the latest issue of Self Service Magazine. Her hair is amazing! I want that colour and that perfect lenght. Anyway she is wearing Balenciaga leather skirt in red and Balmain suit jacket underneath. Styling by Suzanne Koller and photgraphed by Alasdair McLellan.

Hors Cadre

When I am looking for inspiration I usually try to find editorials and pics that are close to my everyday style – a look that I find wearable at all time, day to evening. But sometimes I just love going through magazines and find editorials that are truly like art. This editorial is shot by swedish Camilla Åkrans for Numéro Magazine #137 October 2012 featuring on of my favourite super models, Anja Rubik. And yes, this editorial is something I would be hanging on my wall – beuatiful.

Turtle-neck + coat

A thin knitted turtle-neck and a long coat is a great combo this fall. Get inspired by this editorial above ‘Seasonal Phenomenon’ in the latest issue of Allure Magazine Russia. Three similiar styles but by mixing tone-in-tone colours and changing details you have got a classy and cool look. Since it is not that cold yet I would go for a thin knitted turtle-neck and layer it with a chunky coat instead.

The October issue

So it’s always this big fuss about the Septermber issue’s in the magazine world – since it’s the most important issue of the year. But I always love going through the next one, the October issues, because I always find the mags content so much better. All the biggest trends are already revealed so it’s always a more laidback and relaxed issue with a lot of good stuff. In the Vogue Paris October 2012 there is this gorgeous editorial featuring Iselin Steiro photographed by Glen Luchford. It’s shot at the riviera styled by Marie Chaix – and I must say great choice with adding that stunning Balmain suit in black to the editorial.
