Show that belly

A huge trend for spring 2013 is to show off your belly (for an example Balenciga show an amazing bustier that showed off the models flat stomachs). But it’s also a pretty sweet trend right now. Especially with all the chunky knitwear and pair of boyfriend jeans. In the latest issue of Vogue Netherlands November 2012, model Mirte Maas show off perfection when it comes to the bare-belly style. Beautiful editorial by the way, photgraphed by Annemarieke Van Drimmelen. That Moschino logo belt lives on forever and ever, and styling it like this accentuate it’s status in your wardrobe – as a closet saver.

The Kate Moss book

When breaking up with former boyfriend Johnny Depp, Kate Moss got the advice ‘Never complain, never explain’ when the press and media were haunting them like hawks. Ever since, Moss has kept quite. You can’t really find an interview with her during her 25 years in the fashion industry. Okey, well one, in 2005 when she had to explain the picture of her and a rolled up dollar bill in her nose, and with five sentences she made a press release. Anyway, when someone in this industry keep quite for so long it’s always interesting when that person releases her own book. A coffe table book in her name will be available for all the Moss fans this month, with not only one cover, but eight different covers. Accordning to the publisher the many option of covers is because Kate didn’t want to upset any of the famous photographers by choosing only one (since she is such close friends with). Teaming up with Jefferson Hack, her former flame, and Jess Hallett, a good friend of hers, the creative guru Fabien Baron produced this book chronicling the supermodel’s iconic career. On the cover you will see everything from a teenage Moss by Corinne Day to more recent shots by Mert & Marcus. Which one is your favourite?

A watch

As you may know by now, I am always obsessing over editorials from Vogue Paris. Cause most of the times they have got this chic but always sexy and cool vibe all over them. This ‘Watch’-editorial is one of them. I just crave all the pieces in the story and, quite frankly, that is mainly what an editorial is all about. Anyway, back to the watches, a classic piece always rocks an outfit (which is obvious in this editorial), and investing in a piece could definitely be your closet saver any day of the week. Above: watch from Swatch. Underneath: Rolex, Audemars Piguet and Cartier.

The new faces

The beauty editorial ‘The New Faces’ is photgraphed by Karim Sadli and styled by Géraldine Saglio – from the latest issue of Vogue Paris Beauté. I like the idea of making a beauty editorial a little bit more excited with featuring the hottest and most up-coming models in it and making they talk about their beauty habits. Not anything particular exciting but just adding a more relaxed vibe over the magazine.

Sur la Route

The editorial ‘Sur la Route’ is styled by Géraldine Saglio for the Vogue Paris November issue 2012. The all americano vs feminine biker-style is captured by Lachlan Bailey and modelling by Anna Selezneva. Even if  myself wouldn’t put on a pair of cowboy boots I love the simplicity of the Saglio styling – a great pair of jeans (skinny or boot-cut), a simple tee, a low-waisted belt and a great jacket – like the oversized suede jacket.
