I have so been curious to see when this amazing satin dress from Céline S/S13 would be featured in an editorial. In Numéro Magazine issue April 2013 model Aymeline Valade is styled in this beauty (the white satin on with black mesh details), along with other cool pieces from Nicolas Ghesquière for Balenciaga, Ricardo Tisci for Givenchy, Louis Vuitton, Dior and Fendi, all styled by Franck Benhamou. I love have the looks turned quite raw with just adding the boots by Givenchy. Richard Bush is the photographer for this editorial.
For the moment I have got black on my mind and I wouldn’t mind these cool pieces in my wardrobe. From the top left: black leather loafers from Hermès, leather bomber jacket from Filippa K S/S13 as well as leather skirt from Filippa K S/S13, beautiful satin top from Lanvin, embellished boots from the Saint Laurent Fall and Winter 2013 collection, stiletto sandal in snake from Jimmy Choo (I love these!), slip-in sandals in black leather with gold details from Ancient Greek Sandals, canvas and leather bag model ‘1968’ from Balenciaga and a pair of aviators ‘Luxe Mirrored Sunglasses’ from Linda Farrow.
Just spotted this beautiful crocodile leather tote from Lanvin at Luisa Via Roma. A perfect everyday bag. Love the crocodile leather combined with the smooth calf-skin and the brass details. Very lady-like. Old lady on Upper East like.
For this pre-fall collection, Alber Elbaz has integrated a beautiful leopard and zebra print throughout big parts of the collection. The boots in the same print are fantastic, as well as the oversized clutches. There are some classical pieces as well, like the coats, and of course some very Lanvin-ish ones as well, like the huge embellishments on everything from coats to tops and the statement necklaces. The laced-up ankle boots with platform heels are amazing, but my favourite piece of them all is the creamy white waist-short goat fur paired with a black turtle-neck and a gorgeous clutch.
The bags from the Lanvin RTW Spring and Summer collection 2013 are amazing! Black and white boxy leather clutches and shoulder bags with gold details are hanging on the models shoulders and in their hands. I love how they complete the runway looks in such perfect way. The vibes are truly glam chic as well as art-deco-style with the wood details as well as the material mix. I have never before been any particular into Lanvin leather goods (too many bows and too….cute) but this coming season will be a big exception.
From the Lanvin Resort 2014 collection. You can also spot the head-to-toe golden look in Gucci’s Resort 2014 collection and a golden pyjamas from Joseph Altuzarra.
Ok, I buy loads of sunglasses every season. And I really shouldn’t get one more pair, but these above, ivory horn sunglasses from Lanvin, are just amazing! You can get them here.
I need some new flats and Lanvin makes the best. Love the model and they always look chic. I’m having trouble to decide though, since I have a black pair maybe nude is the one’s to get. Net-à-Porter has them, so you’ll find them here.
