On my mind

Saint-Laurent

Diamond crusted gold cuff and ring from Saint Laurent. I am very much into bling for the moment and I find it beautiful to just have it as simple as possible, as always… Saint Laurent have done it as well as Gaia Repossi for her acclaimed and self-titled jewelry line. I could wear anything from her, all the Repossi pieces are truly amazing and unique of it’s kind.

Balmain Resort

Balmain Resort 2014 Denim on denimThere were two looks which were smashing in the Balmain Resort 2014 collection, and that was the denim looks – especially the one above – denim paired with denim. The harnesses are just super cool, as well as the genius idea to style it with an over-sized crisp white shirt (so simple) – as well as all the gold accessories (what is a Balmain collection without its’s gold?). I am definitely going to do a copy cat on the look above, maybe in a more subtle way though.

Budget

Zara rings fall 2013

I just found some super nice budget rings from Zara. When it comes to rings I actually have a hard time to buy costume jewelry just because they loose their glance after a while. So the pieces I know are classic and timeless, I try to buy in either gold or sterling silver. Then you don’t have to worry about them getting drab. But when it comes to trend-pieces, that I am not sure of if I will end up using or not, I totally go for the budget ones. Especially like the Céline-ish inspired rings above from Zara. Underneath, inspiration and rings from Chloé Fall 2013.

Eddie Borgo

Eddie Borgo chunky chain necklace SS13

I am in love with Eddie Borgo for the moment. There are some amazing pieces in his previous collection, and up-coming for that matter as well. I would love a golden necklace in gold for this summer, styling it both for everyday and for a night look. Love the way Elizabeth and James showing their golden necklace in their resort 2014 collection (see previous post), pairing it with denim. Such a beautiful combination.

Sophie Bille Brahe

Sophie Bille Brahe gold jewelryLove these pieces from the talented Sophie Bille Brahe, everything from earrings to rings. She works with 18 carat gold and diamonds that makes all of the pieces just stunning and wearable for both everyday use. Above you see my absolute favorites from her ‘gold’-collection. You can find Sophie’s pieces here.

Christina Jervey

Christina Jervey ringsI am always looking for delicate and unique jewelry and nothing is more exciting to discover new designers that I haven’t seen anything about yet. Christina Jervey is an American jewelry designer making pieces in sterling silver, 14 karat gold and 14 karat gold plate all made un the U.S. She designs and creates all the jewelry herself and her line features organic designs inspired by nature. I love the simplicity of the jewelry yet a slight bohemian touch. I am absolutely in love with her gold rings, both the thin delicate ones as well as the stack rings. Above you see some of my fav thin gold rings from her line: ‘V ring’, ‘Love Knot ring’ (so beautiful) and ‘Serpent ring’. Underneath: ‘Bamboo Stack rings’ and ‘Wavy Bands Gold rings’. I need those stack rings… Love them all! You can find them here.

Girl crush

Gaia RepossiOkey, so I constantly have girl crushes, but there is one particular person I am kind of obsessing over for the moment and that is Gaia Repossi, daughter to Alberto Repossi – as in Repossi Joailliers Jewelry. Gaya who is the artistic director of the French Jewelry brand has this impeccable cool french style, always looking very au natural but with an edge. The accessories and jewelry Gaia creates and design for Repossi definitely take her stylish look to another level. Her earrings, rings and hair pieces are just amazing and I will definitely do an upcoming post about them.

The slippers

Julia Nobis by Benny Horne for Russh Magazine Céline slippersThe Céline slippers are seen everywhere – in editorials so to speak. In Russh Magazine Spring 2013 Julia Nobis is styled by Gillian Wilkins in the talked-about shoe. I picked out some pictures from the spread above and I just love the last look – a white Stella McCartney S/S13 dress styled with delicate gold jewelry and of course, the gold embellished slippers from Céline. The editorial is photographed by Benny Horne.

Monica Sordo

Monica Sordo Medusa Jewelry Gold braceletsI have mentioned Monica Sordo’s jewelry before, but I just find these pieces stunning. The ‘Medusa’ collection is fabulous, such a luxurious bohemian collection with a lot of statement pieces. The earrings with gold fringes as well as the bracelets and cuff are my absolute favorites. I wouldn’t mind the all… You can find Monica’s pieces at Fivestory in N.Y. and here. Thank you so much Monica for the pictures.
