This is an old pic – but hey, is STILL going strong! Love the fringe-boots, reminds me so much about the ‘Mony’ (AW11) or the ‘Jacob’ (AW12) fringe boots, both from Isabel Marant. Very french and very chic – and timeless! The picture is from 2004, can’t believe it’s almost 9 years ago. Isabel Marant store-opening
Isabel Marant opened a brand new boutique in Paris a couple of days ago, on Avenue Victor Hugo. You will not only find the brand’s Ready to Wear collection in the store but also her accessory line with shoes and bags. The boutique is over 2,000 square feet in the heart of a Parisian three story mansion. Of course there were a lot of chic people mingling in the evening the doors to the boutique opened. Among others Doria Tillier (looking great in a star printed shirt), Marie-Ange Casta (second pic) and Jeanne Damas (looking chic in a Isabel Marant top and jacket.
Fur coat
Since it gets way too cold here in Sweden during the winter I really want to get myself a new warm and stylish fur. This one above is gorgeous and I am looking for something similiar. Can’t get that Isabel Marant ‘Thai’ fur coat out of my head that, nore this one from Isabel Marant. Pic taken in Paris by Stockholm Streetstyle.

Wish outfit
I would love to look like this today! Chunky knitwear from Isabel Marant, mustard colour fur gilet from Diane von Furstenberg, leather skirt from Alexander McQueen, rosty-red suede fringe boots from Christian Louboutin (amazing!), clutch from Proenza Schouler, sunglasses from Alexander Wang and beautiful 18k golden earring from Aurélie Bidermann.
Aloha Isabel Marant!

It’s quite funny to see how amazed Isabel Marant is about the american culture. I mean, she did a lot of western inspired pieces in her fall 2012 collection and now she takes on the Hawaii-style mixed up with some italian-influences (read Cavalli and Dolce & Gabbana). Studded belts and shoes, Hawaii-inspired prints, paisley-patterns and a lot of prints and embroidery in the SS13 collection by Isabel Marant. As always, Isabel Marant delivers a girly but yet sexy spring collection full of great statement pieces. She sticks to what she does best, beautiful tops, short skirts and shorts, lovely dresses and amazing shoes. My favourites? I want to get my hands on the flats black studded sandals, the golden accessories and the white one-shoulder-top. Love!

Essentials

Self Service Magazine asked a couple of designers what they can’t live without, their everyday essentials. Camilla Nickerson, stylist, listed her Céline mocha mink oversized Crombie fur coat, her Trapeze bag in burgundy calfskin from Céline and her YSL fall/winter 2001 high-heeled and patent velvet loafers. In the middle you can see what Isabel Marant can’t live without, her fathers old watch. Nice huh? She got inspired of this one when she made a limited edition watch for her own label. The antique-inspired 18-karat gold watch will be sold in her New York store and starts at 9,800 dollars.
