The Marquise

I can’t say that I am a huge fan of Emilio Pucci bags. But browsing around at Luisa Via Roma I found this particular one – the ‘Marquise bag’ – which I actually kind of dig. I am obsessed with finding a shoulder bag that is quite classic but with a modern twist. This one above is a good candidate. I Like the chain-strap with the leather detail on the shoulder and the classic big buckle in gold – and the size is perfect. The ‘Marquise bag’ is available in red as well, and in an inka-tribal embroidery for this fall and winter.

A hat

A hat always is always a great accessory when it gets colder. Style it with a boho-chic look and it’s a winner. I find the Maison Michel hats and the ones from Borsalino simply classics, but one brand that has made great hats for this fall is Emilio Pucci. This one in burgundy is in wool-felt fedora and gives you that perfect ‘slouchy’ look. If you usually don’t wear hats, go for a classic and quite neutral colour like black, navy or burgundy. If you dare – go for a super cool hat in pink shade, like the one underneath, with an olive green ribbon, also from Emilio Pucci.

Emilio Pucci SS13

The Emilio Pucci show was fantastic. There was a lot of details and pieces I loves, like the bare shoulders on both tanks and tops – very feminine and sexy. The colours were smashing as well – creamy white, mint and red.

Beautiful baseball jackets in satin with Asian inspired embroiderments. We have seen a lot of baseball jackets from Isabel Marant in all of her collections, this fall it was the embroided baseball jacket with rodeo and americana influences. I think this type of jacket is going to be huge for spring.

Small evening bags and clutch in crocco and leather with thin chains is seen at the Pucci show as well. Nice!
