I was at Barney’s New York last week, which is one of my absolute favorite department stores. They basically have it all – well, at least what I need and want. So I spotted the FRAME Denim jeans, which I have been super curious about for a while. I love the simple cut and styles, just exactly how I want a pair of jeans to be. Unfortunately they hadn’t got my size in for the moment, but I am trying to get a pair at Barney’s Co-op L.A instead. The wash above is truly gorgeous, especially now during the summer. But I do need a pair of denim blue ones as well…

Elizabeth & James
The Olsen twin’s more price friendly line (comparing to The Row…), Elizabeth & James just showed their Resort 2014 collection. Oh yes, the resort lines have been dropping in one after another the latest couple of days. I love the resort lines, they are quite small but often highlights the most important trends for the coming season. In this collection I just loved the combination of styling denim with denim, the flat sandals, the skirts in knee-lenght and of course the headband (!). Love it, and I am so going to start using the ones I’ve got.

Étoile FW13
Absolutely love these first pictures of the Étoile Isabel Marant collection for fall 2013-14. I like the fact that Isabel Marant has gone back to her “roots” – creating pieces that are timeless and wardrobe staples, but of course with a great cut. I had a hard time to relate to the current collection (the Étoile S/S13 collection) with all the flower tunics and pants, owl-printed pullovers, pale colors (like yellow and baby blue) and star-printed jeans… That is why I totally embrace what I have seen this far! God, I love the peacoat, the thigh-high suede boots, the knit and the slight flared jeans with a simple, crisp white shirt. The ad campaign is featuring gorgeous Andreea Diaconu and is photographed by Karim Sadli.
By Columbine
As you know, I am a big fan of StyleBy and for their 17th issue of the magazine the team went to New York and shot several editorials (which you’ll see when reading this issue). Anyway Columbine Smille has styled this jewelry editorial shot in a tiny hotel room in New York. The model, Luma, looks amazing as well as hair, make-up, clothing – and of course all the amazing jewelry including brands such as Cartier and Eddie Borgo. Very simple, luxurious and effortless cool, exactly the way I like it. The look I fell head over heels for was the one above – denim paired with denim, how cool? The editorial is photographed by Blaise Reuterswärd.

In bloom
Lovely blogger and fashion editor Columbine Smille has styled this beautiful grunge-meets-luxury editorial ‘In Bloom’ for Elin Kling’s magazine Style By. The swedish semi-monthly magazine is my absolute favorite and find the features and editorials so inspiring. Anyway, the editorial is photographed by Jesse Laitinen and just captures this Spring’s hottest trend flawlessly – grunge. I love the fact that Columbine has taken the styling to a luxurious level – like styling Chanel with a simple beanie and the beautiful Miu Miu fur stole from SS13 with casual Birkkenstocks. And, oh that just remind me, I am totally hooked and need to get me a pair of Birkkenstock sandals. So utterly nerdy but yet cool – and comfy! I like them a lot and wouldn’t mind at all styling them like in this editorial.
An Other
I love this cover of AnOther Magazine featuring Michelle Williams – the laid back look with the boyfriend jeans and college sweater styled with a completely non-matchable accessory, a feather hat. The pictures is photographed by Willy Vanderperre. Inside the magazine there was also an editorial that caught my eye with Kati Nescher photographed by Daniel Jackson and styled by Mattias Karlsson. Wouldn’t mind every single look! Yet again, we can spot the Céline fur slippers…
Denim
Just spotted this editorial in Numéro Tokyo April 2013 issue. I am having a soft spot when it comes to denim editorials, I just love it. Simple, cool, classic, and most important of all – so inspiring. Carolyn Murphy is styled in denim on denim paired with cool statement accessories, like the Saint Laurent S/S13 felt hat and leather harnesses. The editorial is photographed by Nino Munoz.

Espadrilles
Okey, so this spring is all about one particular shoe model – and that is the flat espadrille. I mean sure, they were an huge hype already last year when Chanel and Valentino released their logo and lace models, but they are still going strong for this year as well. And this season have not only Stella McCartney a few pairs in her collection (pink or yellow neon ones!), but also Fendi and Chloé. My favourites are still the Chanel pair (since I got them myself) but I kind of dig the Valentino ones as well. What do you guys think? Above: Chloé and Valentino, underneath: Christian Louboutin studded ankle wrist espadrilles and Chanel denim model (comes also in mint, lavender, black and white for this spring).
