Prada FW13

Prada Fall 2013 Hanne GabyI loved the slickback hair, the pale make-up with the cherry pink lipstick on the Prada Fall 2013 show yesterday. The looks were amazing – materials mixed in perfect combination. The mink fur coats and the croco jackets are the collections big winners, as well as the black leather boots and the sky-high wedges in cognac. Through-out the whole collection there was one detail we could spot on several styles, and that was the off-the shoulder design. Knitwear and cardigans were created to show off the shoulders, a beautiful details that I truly love, even more than a bare back or a deep v-neck. When it comes to the accessories, the bags are probably going to be among the hits for this fall. My favourite was the oversized cosmetic bag in a bowling-bag model that the models carried like a clutch. Miuccia Prada worked with both soft plain leather as well as croco in neutral colours like dark chocolate brown as well as popping red.

On my mind

Street style crocodile Givenchy bag…is crocodile embossed bags for the moment. Especially bags from Givenchy. This clutch is one of the favourites, among the Pandora and Antigona bag. As in this picture, the croco-embossed clutch risen the whole outfit. The fuzzy knit and the black leather skirt creates a perfect combination with the bag – street style as it’s best. The idea of using different materials – but all in the same colour – makes this outfit perfect.

Wish outfit

I love the idea of wearing light colours when it’s getting darker outside – and especially when it’s the season of the year when everyone else is dressing in dark colours. This outfit above is truly symbolizing timeless chic – striped pullover and crocodile backpack from The Row, beige wool-coat from Vanessa Bruno, hat from Borsalino, mesh body from Saint Laurent, trousers from Alexander McQueen, ‘horse-bit’ loafers from Gucci and 18 karat yellow gold bracelet from Diane Kordas.

Accessory report FW12: Bags

Since it’s soon to be fall I want to give you the ultimate bag report. I’ve noticed there are some major trends this fall when it comes to handbags. The shoulder bag is one of them and above I’ve picked out my favourites. From the left: Givenchy Obsedia bag, suede patchwork bag from Roger Vivier and a dark chocolate crocco bag from Stella McCartney. From the left row two you’ll fins Givenchy Shark tooth buckle bag in nude, Céline bicolor shoulder bag and the Boy bag by Chanel in blue velvet.Another huge trend, that I myself would love to embrace, is the crocco trend. Regardless of the colour a nice crocco bag can elevate your outfit at an instant. From the left: lovely tote bag in navy blue from The Row, clutches from Nancy Gonzalez and chestnut brown crocco bag from Givenchy.
Is all about red this fall – red suits, red skirts, red blazers, red coats, red shoes and of course red bags. These above are my three favourites, from the left: Valentino shoulder bag, Tom Ford crocco evening bag and studded clutch from Valentino. And of course, the leopard print is always a classic. Love it on accessories and especially when it comes to bags. Jérome Dreyfuss has made the beautiful tote above on the left, in the middle: Christian Louboutin pony hair evening clutch (to-die-for), Valentino leopard printed shoulder bag and to the right the Va-Va-Voom large shoulder bag from Valentino.

Wish list

I’ve got some huge cravings right now, especially for a watch! Wouldn’t mind this Cartier Tank Solo Francoise in white steel above. More things on my wish list: a soft alpaca sweater from Vanessa Bruno – perfect to wear in chilly summer evenings, a great clutch in crocodile leather – these two from Nancy Gonzales are amazing (especially the one in blue) a pair of great heels like these from Nicholas Kirkwood and a pair of round-frame sunglasses. I’ve been looking for a great pair and these above are perfect, from Cutler and Gross.
