I am all about soft colors and hues for the moment, and I prefer it to style it with washed black and adding a popping color – like the cobalt blue one here above. On my mind I have Balmain – above you see not only embellished ankle heels from their S/S13 collection but also the light powder pink shirt, the black dress and the beautiful retro sunglasses. The hat comes from the collaboration Acne Studios did with the italian brand Borsalino for this season (so cool, it’s available in yellow as well…), washed out denim jacket from Weekday (best budget line), cobalt blue loafers from Acne, tassle earrings from Eddie Borgo, see-through pvc bag from Valentino, studded leather clutch in black from Valentino as well and a cool detail for your bag or luggage – cobalt blue tag from Little Liffner that you can find here.
The 3.1 Phillip Lim S/S13 collection actually surprised me a bit. A thought it felt very young comparing to his preview collections. There is a touch of a grunge feeling going through the whole collection, but in a very sophisticated and up-to-dated way. What I love was the leopard-pattern, both on sleeves, suit-jackets and pants. The cobalt-blue colour on everyhting from pants to coats is still going strong, nice!
This fall is all about matching your outfits to the ultimate and by that I mean wearing your pieces together. Like the Stella McCartney golden pyjama above or the beautiful and delicate light pink Rochas alpaca top and skirt. The three outfits above are my favourites for the moment. The klein cobalt blue top and skirt is Stella McCartney as well.
I needed some colour in my closet since I’m totally lacking of it. So I bought me this jumper above. From Acne and you can get it here.
Mixing basic with craziness! Love the leather pants with star details from Acne (now available at Browns Fashion), pointy navy heels from Balenciaga, basic t-shirt with anchor detail from A.P.C, knitted cardigan from Burberry Prorsum, amazing cobalt-blue clutch from Tom Ford, necklace in gold from Aurélie Bidermann and blue earrings from Kimberly McDonald.
Stella’s collections gets better and better for every season! Botanical embroideries, the perfect pair of trousers shown with pointy platforms, oversized clutches, navy with black and retro side-ziped jackets. I am in love. Anyway, can’t wait to visit her new boutique in Soho and finger on her S/S12 collection.
