The coolest lady ever walked this earth, kind of: Jacqueline Lee “Jackie” Kennedy Onassis. “She retained French-born American fashion designer and Kennedy family friend Oleg Cassini in the fall of 1960 to create an original wardrobe for her as First Lady. In 1961, Kennedy spent $45,446 more on fashion than the $100,000 annual salary her husband earned as president. Although Cassini was her primary designer, she also wore ensembles by French fashion legends such as Chanel, Givenchy, and Dior.”

Fall shoes
Six pair of shoes I wouldn’t mind in my shoe closet for this fall; black leather boots with wooden cone heel from Givenchy, light beige faux-leather boot from Stella McCartney, black kitten heel from Louis Vuitton, beige and black slingback from Chanel, white sneaker from Céline and woven leather slip-on sneaker from Bottega Veneta.

Freja by Emmanuelle Alt
This editorial, styled by Emmanuelle Alt, is featured in the Vogue May 2013 issue and photographed by talented duo Inez & Vinoodh. Freja is one of my all time favorite models, there is just something about her look that is so flawless. For this editorial she is wearing couture and show pieces Elie Saab, Giambattista Valli, Chanel and more. My absolute favorite looks are the one from Armani Privé (above) and the Gaultier Paris (below). I love how she work the knotted sequin top with the slitted skirt and the trousers underneath. True perfection, and I wouldn’t mind strolling around in something similar this summer. I totally need to look after a skirt like that. Although maybe a bit shorter, but still. Just gorgeous to a loose fitted tee and flats sandals.
1 bag 7 looks
You haven’t missed the CR Fashion book’s tumblr right? I love the CR site and pretty much visit it every day since Roitfeld and her team cover everything from editorial fashion to the latest Daft Punk album and the Cannes Film Festival. In her editorial cover Carine puts a twist on wardrobe essentials. With model Xiao Wen, Roitfeld shows one of the most classical pieces of all time, a Chanel bag, in seven different ways. I love the fact that no matter what style you have, you can wear this timeless piece to it – from punk to hippie. The editorial is photographed by Max von Gumppenberg and Patrick Bienert, and styled by Carine herself.
Wish List
Here are some stuff on my mind that also qualifies on my wish list for the moment. I am all about tank tops right now, even if it’s a bit too chilly for it. But I stack it underneath my cashmere knits and hope that I can start showing them off soon. These two comes from T by Alexander wang, beauties. When the spring starts to come I want to change my knitted scarf to a thinner one, and I wouldn’t mind this leopard silk scarf from Saint Laurent Paris (just in at My Theresa). Shoes that I want; suede sandals in navy from Gianvito Rossi (love these) and the embellished fur slippers from Céline… Accessories; sunglasses from Prada and stack rings from Dries Van Noten (love the silver/gold combo). And I need to update my perfume collection (as well as my make-up) and wouldn’t mind trying the Dries Van Noten for Frederic Malle perfume and getting myself some Chanel make.
Watch it!
Emily Di Danato looks absolutely stunning in this watch-editorial in Vogue Paris April 2013 by Giampaolo Sgura. But, it was not her, but the watches I wanted to mention. Vogue Paris is amazing in finding beautiful, classic and timeless pieces for their editorials, and in this one you can see it is no exception. I love the Hublot watch as well as the Chanel link-watch in silver (the last picture). I love my current watch, and use it every day. Although I wouldn’t mind updating it with an alligator leather strap… But if I would go for a new one a would definitely want the Chanel one, or a Jaeger-LeCoultre (the Reverso is a favorite!).
Wish List
I have got some specific items on top of my wish list for the moment. It’s a never ending story right? Having things you want and crave all the time? Well, I hope it never will end either. It’s nice to have certain things to ‘dream’ about or long for. Even though is just stuff. So much better with a vacation to long for though (!). But, there are a couple of things that I want, which I of course would like to share with you.
Eytys white canvas sneakers: these I have been waiting for a while! Hopefully I’ll get my hands on them next time I am in Stockholm. Céline hobo bag and python wedges: needs no explanation. I just need them. Badly. Acne Studios linen blazer and red mini skirt: the blazer is the perfect piece for me when to use as a jacket when it gets warmer. I have been eyeing the Célinen linen blazer, but hey, 2500 dollars for a blazer is waaay too much. So this is a really nice alternative. And the red skirt, feels very Vaccarello. Super cool and super chic. The Row ribbed sweater: the perfect rib and the perfect color. Dior pearl earrings: I just love these and the fact that they have pearls on each sides. Givenchy silk pleated trousers: silk satin oversized trousers would be a perfect investment this season for my ‘going out’ wardrobe. Repossi gold chain necklace: subtle and simple, the perfect everyday necklace. Chanel credit card holder: I need a new one. My wallet is too big and my current card holder is just, well boring, so I can’t get it out of my head that I want a new one. This one from Chanel is probably one I’d never get sick and tired of.
Vogue Spain
Fabolous editorial in the March 2013 issue of Vogue Spain. Anna Selezneva is styled by Géraldine Saglio in amazing pieces from Saint Laurent, Balmain, Céline, Chanel among others… Love the first look with the red fur sandals/slippers from Céline, the velvet pants and the slouchy hat. The editorial is photgraphed by Giampaolo Sgura.
