The Winter campaign for the French house is yet again shot by Juergen Teller (with some mere exception for one or two seasons). The models are up and rising stars with barely no make-up and messy hair. Karly Loyce, Agnes Nieske, Lisa Helene Kramer, Irinia Djuranovic, and Sofie Fable Hansen are the faces you will probably see a lot more of in a near future.
Giant earrings, such as these from Céline, is unbelievably gorgeous and to pair it with turtlenecks, chunky knits or breezy fine knits, which almost make them more covetable. I want to go to Europe now, just to browse through all pre-fall collections. And maybe to shop, just maybe.
I have been thinking of Birkenstock sandals for weeks! I can’t stop thinking about them, but everytime I have walked in to a store, I have just been hesitating. I mean, they are so ugly they are cool, and sure, ever since Céline showed their pieces they have been hot stuff. When I walked home a week ago in East Village I spotted a girl wearing the in white and they were so cool. So I might go with a white pair, especially since I have a pair of Marni sandals that are almost the same in black…
Yet again, Céline delivers an extra-ordinary ad campaign featuring beautiful Daria Werbovy for Fall and Winter 2013. I want to do a manicure and get red nails, as well as red lips when I see these pictures! Power full and chic, at the same time. Love it.
Talented stylist Marie Chaix has styled this power editorial, ‘Chic Athlétique’, for the June/July 2013 issue of Vogue Paris. Model Hilary Rhoda is photographed by Terry Richardson and looks smashing in Céline Pre-fall pieces (I am obsessed with that buckle belt…), as well as all of the boots (!). The Céline pair with gold front and laces are killers, but I am very fond of the ones with low heel from Reed Krakoff, the black pair above – they would look gorgeous to knee-lenght skirts for the Fall. Chaix has captured loads of trends for the Fall 2013 in this editorial. Waist belt, knee-long skirts and knee-high boots, gloves and white – all trends that we probably will see a lot more of.
