Cravings
These beautiful irregular earring from the French house’s fall line was featured on The Wall a while ago, in one of the Hottest Arrivals I made, and I can’t stop thinking about them. From Céline.
Menswear
As you may know, I kind of never write about menswear fashion. But, since the menswear collections are showing Spring 2014 at Paris Fashion Week for the moment, I couldn’t resist scrolling them through. One collection I just fell head over heel for is the Hermès SS14. I just love the way Véronique Nichanian worked with effortless cool styles and pieces – like boatneck t-shirts, scarfs and sandals. And, all the leather and suede, yeez. How beautiful isn’t the suede navy trench coat paired with dotted gabardine pants and loafers? Pyjama party deluxe.
MMM
I know there has been a lot of Resort collections on the blog lately, but there has been so many good ones. I am absolutely overwhelmed by the spot on styles and pieces, not only by the brands I am usually obsessing over. The latest one to show is Masion Martin Margiela and this collection surprised me. I dig the white look above with the peacock coat, the knee-lenght of the dress and the thigh-high boots. I am all about simplicity and the feeling of effortless cool, and I think MMM nailed it in this line. I mean, I definitely want that black jumpsuit (crepe-de-chin top with trousers) as we speak.

On my mind
Stella Resort
I just had to show some of my favorite pieces from the Stella McCartney Resort 2014 line. We have been seen a lot of yellow fabrics in the Resort-collection for 2014, a light yellow hue, which also the Olsen-twins worked with in their collection from The Row. Stella paired her yellow dress with baby pink mules, which also is a big trend for 2014. Overall is a nice collection from Stella McCartney, but I wouldn’t say I am blown away. Although there are some accessories which are making me quite excited, especially the beautiful satin dresses.

More Resort
The Resort lines for 2014 has been very strong and I have seen some amazing pieces and combinations. First of all, there were some fabulous looks from the Marc Jacobs Resort line of 2014 that I just want to copy straight away. I do not usually fall head over heels over his collection but in this Resort line there were some strong looks. There were pieces in silk, satin and fur styled with underwear and my favorite accessory for the moment – flats. Max Mara is also a brand that delivered. In their Resort line I had two looks which were my favorites which was the head-to-toe black and the head-to-toe white suit. Kind of dig the idea of pairing a cap to the more dressed-up-look, as well as styling the fur scarf, underneath the suit jacket.
Another brand with a strong Resort collection was Adam Lippes. Simple and effortless looks with that gorgeous feminine touches, such as satin robes and kitten-heeled slip-in’s. But there were also pieces that embrace masculinity with wide trousers and silk pants with sporty influences. I love these combinations and I am absolutely crushing over those heels for the moment… Wouldn’t mind them both in black and white (!).
Étoile FW13
Truly dig these first pictures of the Étoile Isabel Marant collection for fall 2013-14. I like the fact that Isabel Marant has gone back to her “roots” – creating pieces that are timeless and wardrobe staples, but of course with a great cut. I had a hard time to relate to the current collection (the Étoile S/S13 collection) with all the flower tunics and pants, owl-printed pullovers, pale colors (like yellow and baby blue) and star-printed jeans… That is why I totally embrace what I have seen this far. Super like on the peacoat, the thigh-high suede boots, the knit and the slight flared jeans with a simple, crisp white shirt. The ad campaign is featuring gorgeous Andreea Diaconu and is photographed by Karim Sadli.
