I want to update my closet for spring with white, gold and luxurious materials. The combination of suede, cashmere and silk are to-die-for, especially in light hues such as egg-shell white, light grey and beige. Above I have gathered some pieces that I wouldn’t mind moving into my closet immediately. From the top left: cashmere pullover from Jardin des Orangers, suede laced-up boots from Salvatore Ferragamo Fall 2013, 18 carat gold and diamond earrings from Sophie Bille Brahe, ‘Paris Eau de Perfum’ from Balenciaga, white perforated stretch skirt from Azzedine Alaïa, mirrored aviator sunglasses from Linda Farrow, beautiful eggshell white chiffon and silk dress from L’Wren Scott and egg-shell white clutch from Valentino.

Coachella outfits
Above I have picked out two outfits that I would go with at Coachella. Love the fact that you alternate your style with just a few pieces. For a day look I would go for a pair of white denim shorts from Frame Denim, a grey sleeve-less tank top from Rick Owens Lilies and pair it with a pair of t-strap sandals from K. Jacques St. Tropez styled with a straw hat from Maison Michel, a pair of way-farer from Ray-Ban, Anine Bing Diamond Solitaire rings in gold and white-gold (love these!) and a shoulder bag from Balenciaga (Fall and Winter collection 2013-2014). For a night look – stay tuned with you accessories and switch your sandals to some boots, these black suede boots comes from Rodarte x Opening Ceremony, washed out black denim shorts from J.Brand and a beautiful silk sequin top from Peter Pilotto.
The Fringe tee
I just spotted this fringe t-shirt from Acne Studios at La Garconne. I love the styling with the slouchy white 5-pocket leather trousers and the beige/nude Alma boots, also from Acne. The ‘Joshi’ fringe tee is available in white as well, but the black one is way cooler especially since this base is washed-out black – a beautiful contrast to all black fringes. If you like me love this tee, go get it here.
Hermès
There are some great pieces in the Hermès S/S13 collection. Among many I have picked out some favorites. The oversized leather jacket in lamb skin are one of them as well as the shorts in crocodile chiffre, shaded jade or cobalt. Hermès creative director Christophe Lemaire was inspired by a luxurious traveller on a journey in the East, which we could spot on the runway with the models carrying leather backpacks over their sheer dresses as well as the mosaic prints in different pieces.
Cravings: Python
For the moment it’s snowing outside. My mind is totally somewhere else, not even close at bringing back boots, furs and big jackets. This time last year it was actually pretty sweet outside. Thank god that I have plans coming up. Anyway, since I just want to think about spring I am thinking about the trends for this spring. As I mentioned before, there is a lot of python coming up. Proenza Schouler and Valentino showed a lot of leather goods as well as shoes on the runway in python leather and print. Above I just put together some cool stuff that are available in store, or pretty soon at least. Pink-orange hued python PS1 and clutch from Proenza Schouler (as well as the neutral bag underneath), t-shirt from Equipment (how cool), kitten heels and clutch from Valentino, blue iPad case from Dolce & Gabbana and super sweet sandals from All Tomorrow’s Parties – that you can find online right here.
Aquazzura
I just love these beautiful suede heels from Aquazzura shoes So simple but yet gorgeous. I have had a hard to time to find where you can get them, but I found that ShopBop has them. This sleek model above is calles ‘Sexy Thing’ and are truly living up to it’s name. The cutout is just perfect, showing of the parts of the feet that looks the best. This model is available in nude and black suede, but for this season Aquazurra has also done a model with python – as a detail on the sole and heel.
On my mind
Here are some stuff on my mind for the moment: beautiful suede ankle boots from Saint Laurent, python ‘Box’ bag from Céline, box tank top from 3.1 Phillip Lim, fur turtle-neck from The Row, beautiful suede heels from Alaïa, tortoise and leather sunglasses from Linda Farrow for the Row and printed cotton shirt from Burberry Prorsum (menswear collection and you can find this one here).
Like a Lady
For this spring I have got this huge cravings of getting myself a classic bag. A leather piece that becomes your best investment in your wardrobe for an everyday use. I have been crushing on the model ‘Peek-a-Boo’ from Fendi, I think it is a really cool bag, quite unique, and just the perfect size as well (for me at least). When it comes to bags this year, I have seen a lot of fashionistas hitting a more subtle and classic style. All kinds of models from Valentino, Prada and of course, Hermès. Another famous fashion house that are up and coming among the hottest profiles in business is Dior. These leather pieces has, at least for me, been seen on a more immature crowd. But I kind of been digging them lately. Above from the top left: Fendi ‘Peek-a-boo’ in black, Valentino, Prada and Fendi. Underneath: Dior in orange and navy, Hermès Kelly bag and a classy Prada in black leather.

Valentino crush
I have the biggest crush ever on Valentino for the moment. There are som many great pieces in the Spring 2013 collection, I don’t even know where to begin! But my biggest fashion crush is the one I have on their leather goods collection as well as the shoe collection for this spring. I know that the studded collection isn’t new at all but there is something remarkable cool about this collection. Like the plastic see-through shoulder bag with beige details for an example, or the classic medium studded clutch in different kinds of colours and leather… When it comes to the clothing in this collection I can get enough of the girly yet very classy pieces, the lace and the mesh nor the snake print effects in everything from dresses to handbags. But the most amazing piece of all is the studded pvc trench coat (on the picture above). Well, it’s a great collection and hopefully we will see it in many stylish editorials and features this spring.
