The Balmain dinner

Balmain celebrated the launch of their new bag, the ‘Pierre Bag’ with a dinner in New York for a couple of days ago. The bag is a collaboration with Balmain Creative Director Olivier Rousteing and the super cool jewellery designer Aurélie Bidermann. The majority of the crowd who came were dressed in Balmain Ready-to-Wear S/S13 – pink suits, black and white prints, pearl-embroided vests and amazing dresses from the spring collection.

A golden Christmas

Would love for it to be a golden Christmas this year! Okey, I know wishful thinking but here are some pieces I can wish for at least: Valentino pyramid golden necklace/choker from the Pre-Fall 2012/13 collection. The necklace is inspired by stars such as Bianca Jagger in the 80’s during the Studio 54 time and encrusted in white diamonds. The Aurélie Bidermann Cusco gold necklace from her latest collection. A Cartier Love bracelet designed by Aldo Cipullo in the late 60’s for the famous French jeweler, as well as the Cartier Tank Francais in 18 karat gold (I love mine in silver, but wouldn’t mind one in gold as well….). And last but not least, Audemars Piguet Royal Oak watch in 18 karat rosé-gold.

Wish outfit

I would love to look like this today! Chunky knitwear from Isabel Marant, mustard colour fur gilet from Diane von Furstenberg, leather skirt from Alexander McQueen, rosty-red suede fringe boots from Christian Louboutin (amazing!), clutch from Proenza Schouler, sunglasses from Alexander Wang and beautiful 18k golden earring from Aurélie Bidermann.

Golden earrings

I would love to get me some elegant and arty earrings for fall to style with all the chunky knits and heavy fabrics that are taking place in my wardrobe. These golden earrings above are perfection, from the left: Aurélie Bidermann ‘Machu Picchu’ 18-karat gold earrings, in the middle Giles & Brither gold ‘Vermeil Wishbone’ earrings and to the right Aurélie Bidermann ‘Tao’ 18-karat gold pleated earrings.

Mixing

Mixing basic with craziness! Love the leather pants with star details from Acne (now available at Browns Fashion), pointy navy heels from Balenciaga, basic t-shirt with anchor detail from A.P.C, knitted cardigan from Burberry Prorsum, amazing cobalt-blue clutch from Tom Ford, necklace in gold from Aurélie Bidermann and blue earrings from Kimberly McDonald.

Everyday jewelry

I want ‘everyday’ jewelry. Bracelets, necklaces and rings that you’ll always wear. Hard to find the perfect ones though, because if you’re going to use them everyday they has to be perfect. Here are some jewelry that I wouldn’t say no to (from the left), diamond earrings Ileana Makri, bracelet from Jennifer Behr, necklace with spikes from Aurélie Bidermann, silver tooth necklace from Givenchy, thin golden necklace Marie Hélène De Taillac, silver and gold skull bracelets from Alexander McQueen,18k gold and diamond hamsa bracelet Vanessa Kandiyoti, ring ‘Roll in Stone’-collection by Delfina Delettrez, bohemian earrings in 18k gold with diamonds from N.OOR, ‘Love’-necklace in gold from Solange Azagury-Partridge necklace, rosé gold bracelet from Vita Fede, rosé skull ring from Ileana Makri and golden heart necklace from Stella McCartney.

Happy New Year!

I wouldn’t mind looking like this tonight. Top with embellished sleeves from 3.1 Philip Lim, gold pants from Lanvin, shoes from Rochas (spring and summer collection 2012), white bag with gold details from The Row (spring and summer collection 2012), gold cuff from Aurélie Bidermann and thin bracelet in gold with an arrow from Diane Kordas.
