You haven’t missed the CR Fashion book’s tumblr right? I love the CR site and pretty much visit it every day since Roitfeld and her team cover everything from editorial fashion to the latest Daft Punk album and the Cannes Film Festival. In her editorial cover Carine puts a twist on wardrobe essentials. With model Xiao Wen, Roitfeld shows one of the most classical pieces of all time, a Chanel bag, in seven different ways. I love the fact that no matter what style you have, you can wear this timeless piece to it – from punk to hippie. For this summer, Louis Vuitton will release a new handbag model, which will be available in selected LV-boutiques around the world. The new model called W is created from the skin of different textures and colors with the shape that resembles the letter. Some of the bags variations are decorated canvas Monogram, velvety and embroidery on leather, inspired by the art of tapestry. The lining of the bag is made of fine suede. Inside the W, which strongly holds form, despite the softness of the material. Above you can see the burgundy one, without Monogram (the ones with it are pretty cool as well). The shape and size of the W bag makes it a great travel companion, and if I had to board somewhere I would definitely do it chic with the following wish-things: Rick Owens ’Crater’ python jacket, Acne striped ‘Maurice’ skirt, Vanessa Bruno ribbed racer-back tank, Lindsey Adelman Rib-necklace, Roger Vivier Prismick shoulder bag, Nicholas Kirkwood mesh and suede slingbacks, Alaïa burgundy studded suede sandals, Byredo perfume travel case and a couple of magazines from Fantastic Man and The Gentlewoman, that you can find here.

As you know, I am a big fan of StyleBy and for their 17th issue of the magazine the team went to New York and shot several editorials (which you’ll see when reading this issue). Anyway Columbine Smille has styled this jewelry editorial shot in a tiny hotel room in New York. The model, Luma, looks amazing as well as hair, make-up, clothing – and of course all the amazing jewelry including brands such as Cartier and Eddie Borgo. Very simple, luxurious and effortless cool, exactly the way I like it. The look I fell head over heels for was the one above – denim paired with denim, how cool? My current obsession is a pair of white pumps, especially know for the summer. I spotted super cool Carine Roitfeld in a pair during the fashion weeks, which she of course looked great in. Anyway I dig the way Natalia Vodianova is styled above, with a chunky knit and a silky negligé – and of course a pair of white pumps.
