This spring is all about the high heeled knee-high gladiator sandal. Altuzurra showed some amazing ones, as well as Salvatore Ferragamo, Alexander Wang and Jimmy Choo. In the latest issue of Vogue Paris Natasha Poly is styled by Géraldine Saglio in thigh high boots for their ‘I love New York’ editorial. Very bohemian and goregous 70s looks where we can spot the stunning Ferragemo boots and the S/S13 Altuzurra ones. Above you’ll see the Salvatore Ferragamo laced-up boots that is also featured in the editorial underneath.

Espadrilles

Okey, so this spring is all about one particular shoe model – and that is the flat espadrille. I mean sure, they were an huge hype already last year when Chanel and Valentino released their logo and lace models, but they are still going strong for this year as well. And this season have not only Stella McCartney a few pairs in her collection (pink or yellow neon ones!), but also Fendi and Chloé. My favourites are still the Chanel pair (since I got them myself) but I kind of dig the Valentino ones as well. What do you guys think? Still going strong – the studded kitten heels from Valentino. The it-shoe is now available in not only nude, but black, pink, white and more. I totally dig them, as long as you go with a sophisticated and not to dressy outfit. They look amazing in flat sandals as well, and the ballerina model. You can get them here.

Dreaming

My mind is already focused on the summer. Dreaming of wearing nothing but a dress and a pair of sandals. Gah, a little bit too long for that… But, if I can dream a bit, I would very much like these sandals above, from Versace. These black leather and gold crest sandals are available here.

Okey, so I have found the most perfect pair of ankle boots and you’ll find them in Hedi Slimanes first shoe collection for Saint Laurent Spring 2013. They comes in black suede with a 90 mm heel and you’ll find them here. Classic but laidback cool for an everyday look. Simply the perfect combination.

I love a pair of delicate suede shoes for spring, and these two are no exception. The one above comes from Aquazzura and those underneath are Tabitha Simmons. Style them with a light washed pair of denim and white suitjacket and you have a goregous look that will work both day and night.

Valentino crush

I have the biggest crush ever on Valentino for the moment. There are som many great pieces in the Spring 2013 collection, I don’t even know where to begin! But my biggest fashion crush is the one I have on their leather goods collection as well as the shoe collection for this spring. I know that the studded collection isn’t new at all but there is something remarkable cool about this collection. Like the plastic see-through shoulder bag with beige details for an example, or the classic medium studded clutch in different kinds of colours and leather… When it comes to the clothing in this collection I can get enough of the girly yet very classy pieces, the lace and the mesh nor the snake print effects in everything from dresses to handbags. But the most amazing piece of all is the studded pvc trench coat (on the picture above). Well, it’s a great collection and hopefully we will see it in many stylish editorials and features this spring.
