As I have mentioned before I love dressing in black during the summer. Above I have gathered some cool pieces for a warm summer weather. A white shirt
Since I spotted this editorial featuring beautiful Kasia Smutniak in Vogue Italia March 2013, I kind of been having white shirts on my mind. I am always looking for the perfect white color, model, boy-friend-ish, and so on, and this editorial didn’t make my cravings go away… Love the simple look with the hair in a bun, the sleek watch and the hoop-earrings styled with the oversized shirt. It is such a useful piece and timeless piece in your wardrobe so I suggest you invest in shirt that is classic. The Fringe tee
I just spotted this fringe t-shirt from Acne Studios at La Garconne. I love the styling with the slouchy white 5-pocket leather trousers and the beige/nude Alma boots, also from Acne. The ‘Joshi’ fringe tee is available in white as well, but the black one is way cooler especially since this base is washed-out black – a beautiful contrast to all black fringes. The Céline dress
I have so been curious to see when this amazing satin dress from Céline S/S13 would be featured in an editorial. In Numéro Magazine issue April 2013 model Aymeline Valade is styled in this beauty (the white satin on with black mesh details), along with other cool pieces from Nicolas Ghesquière for Balenciaga, Ricardo Tisci for Givenchy, Louis Vuitton, Dior and Fendi, all styled by Franck Benhamou. I love have the looks turned quite raw with just adding the boots by Givenchy. Richard Bush is the photographer for this editorial.
Grunge

Checkmate
There is a lot of checked prints and plaid on the runways for the moment. Plaid is super hot for the fall but a bit too warm for this season. Instead both Dries Van Noten and 3.1 Phillip Lim has done some great checked pieces like shirts, trousers and dresses in their Spring 2013 collections. Basics
I love basics and I am not loyal to any specific brand. Constantly I am looking for that perfect tee and white, grey or black hue. Even though I have plenty of striped t-shirts and long sleeves I can never get enough. For me the quality is the most important factor a long with style (of course). I really like the T by Alexander Wang styles (all of the above) but I find the quality real bad…. I mean I haven’t had a single one without default. Anyway, it’s freaking hard to find good styles so I wouldn’t mind these three tops in my wardrobe for now. I love the waist cropped white muscle tee as well as the striped t-shirt (perfect stripes).
