Just spotted this beautiful crocodile leather tote from Lanvin at Luisa Via Roma. A perfect everyday bag. Love the crocodile leather combined with the smooth calf-skin and the brass details. Very lady-like. Old lady on Upper East like.
Emily Di Danato looks absolutely stunning in this watch-editorial in Vogue Paris April 2013 by Giampaolo Sgura. But, it was not her, but the watches I wanted to mention. Vogue Paris is amazing in finding beautiful, classic and timeless pieces for their editorials, and in this one you can see it is no exception. I love the Hublot watch as well as the Chanel link-watch in silver (the last picture). I love my current watch, and use it every day. Although I wouldn’t mind updating it with an alligator leather strap… But if I would go for a new one a would definitely want the Chanel one, or a Jaeger-LeCoultre (the Reverso is a favorite!).
Wanted: This classic skinny belt in black leather with brass detail from Saint Laurent Paris. You can find it here.
I really want this knitted cardigan with pearl embellishments from Maison Martin Margiela. Is on top (!) of my wish list for the moment. Big plus for it’s deep navy color and beautiful details. You’ll find it here.
I have got some specific items on top of my wish list for the moment. It’s a never ending story right? Having things you want and crave all the time? Well, I hope it never will end either. It’s nice to have certain things to ‘dream’ about or long for. Even though is just stuff. So much better with a vacation to long for though (!). But, there are a couple of things that I want, which I of course would like to share with you.
Eytys white canvas sneakers: these I have been waiting for a while! Hopefully I’ll get my hands on them next time I am in Stockholm. Céline hobo bag and python wedges: needs no explanation. I just need them. Badly. Acne Studios linen blazer and red mini skirt: the blazer is the perfect piece for me when to use as a jacket when it gets warmer. I have been eyeing the Célinen linen blazer, but hey, 2500 dollars for a blazer is waaay too much. So this is a really nice alternative. And the red skirt, feels very Vaccarello. Super cool and super chic. The Row ribbed sweater: the perfect rib and the perfect color. Dior pearl earrings: I just love these and the fact that they have pearls on each sides. Givenchy silk pleated trousers: silk satin oversized trousers would be a perfect investment this season for my ‘going out’ wardrobe. Repossi gold chain necklace: subtle and simple, the perfect everyday necklace. Chanel credit card holder: I need a new one. My wallet is too big and my current card holder is just, well boring, so I can’t get it out of my head that I want a new one. This one from Chanel is probably one I’d never get sick and tired of.
If there is one Hotel in the world (!) that I wouldn’t mind literally living in for my entire life (hah!) it’s Hôtel Costes. Not only is the atmosphere, the rooms and the restaurant things which makes me want to come back to the French very mysterious hotel, it’s also their taste in music. Costes have a collection of albums with the music they’re playing at the hotel as well, which are available at Spotify. Collections which I have listened to for years. Anyway as the Costes enthusiast that I am, I got happily surprised when I spotted that Net-a-Porter has just recently got their beauty products. Soap, perfume, candles and more is available online now. You can find Costes’ beauty stuff here.
I just love my rings in gold from Jane Koening and Maria Black. But a ring collection can never grew too big and that is why I am really considering getting myself a Maria Nilsdotter ring. The one above, the ‘Twig’ ring, is just gorgeous! I love the structure and the non-polish feeling. Maria Nilsdotter is a Swedish jewelry designer based in Stockholm and she creates stunning pieces (have a closer look here).
