I just love these pictures of Anja Rubik sitting in a sheer tank top and underwear smoking a cigarette in issue 38 of Self Service Magazine. From that pictures I put together some cool t-shirt that are available online and in store for the moment. From the left: white short knitted muscle tee from T by Alexander Wang, tank top in nude with ‘Music’ print from Acne S/S13, black v-neck from Acne (love this model), sheer tank from Acne, satin bralette and black leather bra from T by Alexander Wang and black mesh underwear from Weekday. The creme white satin bralette is just gorgeous and would look great to style with a white power suit.
The luxurious crocodile shirt is a piece in the Hermès Spring 2013 collection and a part of the label’s chiffon crocodile shirt line. All of the tops from the menswear collection cost approximately between $60,000 and $100,000. The ancient fashion house has not only made fashionistas around the world raising there eye-brows. Peta says: “The highest price for this rather cheap-looking and ludicrous Hermès T-shirt is paid by the crocodiles who were bludgeoned to death or even skinned alive to make it,” Peta spokesperson Colleen O’Brien. “Peta suggests showing creativity, not cruelty to animals, and offering killer looks that no one had to be killed for to create.”
For the moment I have got black on my mind and I wouldn’t mind these beautiful pieces in my wardrobe! From the top left: black leather loafers from Hermès, leather bomber jacket from Filippa K S/S13 as well as leather skirt from Filippa K S/S13, beautiful satin top from Lanvin, embellished boots from the Saint Laurent Fall and Winter 2013 collection, stiletto sandal in snake from Jimmy Choo (I love these!), slip-in sandals in black leather with gold details from Ancient Greek Sandals, canvas and leather bag model ’1968′ from Balenciaga and a pair of aviators ‘Luxe Mirrored Sunglasses’ from Linda Farrow.
If there is one model I just love for the moment, it is the Estonian model Karmen Pedaru. I find her look timeless and when I spot her in everything from editorials to street style, I jump high. She is not only delivering and shine on magazine covers but also on the streets after the shows. Above she covers the latest issue of Flair Magazine photographed by Katja Rawhles. In the inside story Karmen is styled by Sissy Vian in a mixture of glam tailored, graphic and textured attire by the likes of Francesco Scognamiglio, Alaïa, Balmain, Chanel and many others.
As you may know by know I have been crushing over transparent bag like since, well, forever. I love it! And when I spotted the Pvc-material on Valentino’s runway for this season I was in heaven. Trenchcoat and bags – all in see-through pvc embellished with the Valentino studs. This ‘Rockstud Flapbag’ clutch is a beauty and it just came in at Elyse Walker.
I love the idea of Hermès being such a fun and quirky brand online. If you visit their website you pretty much get a round of applause for just entering it. Anyway, this is no news (I think it have been running for a while) but I just discovered Hermès Tumblr, and I love it! Go and visit it yourself right here. The pictures of the several satin scarfs called ‘What Knot?’ looks so effortless cool and here you can see two of my favorite photographs by Nathaniel Goldberg.
Just spotted this editorial in Numéro Tokyo April 2013 issue. I am having a soft spot when it comes to denim editorials, I just love it. Simple, cool, classic, and most important of all – so inspiring. Carolyn Murphy is styled in denim on denim paired with cool statement accessories, like the Saint Laurent S/S13 felt hat and leather harnesses. The editorial is photographed by Nino Munoz.
I have mentioned Monica Sordo’s jewelry before, but I just find these pieces stunning. The ‘Medusa’ collection is fabulous, such a luxurious bohemian collection with a lot of statement pieces. The earrings with gold fringes as well as the bracelets and cuff are my absolute favorites. I wouldn’t mind the all… You can find Monica’s pieces at Fivestory in N.Y. and here. Thank you so much Monica for the pictures.
